North-west coast of Madagascar
Anjajavy lies on the remote north-western
coast of Madagascar in one of the last remaining
untouched areas of the world. Located 120km
north of Mahajanga, Anjajavy is an extraordinary
peninsula at the end of the world.

With access limited only to planes, Anjajavy
is a far-flung destination, ideally
suited to those seeking a peaceful and remote
holiday. Pristine beaches, crystal-clear waters
and fascinating forests await you. In this
land famed for its endemic species, Anjajavy
offers guided walks through the forest where
guests can see lemurs and other small animals
and insects. Plant life is also varied, and
many of the plants have medicinal purposes
as explained by local guides.

The central area features an oasis designed
by the famous landscape designer, Camille
Muller. It is truly a peaceful haven frequented
by lemurs during the day, and a lovely spot
for the daily afternoon tea.

Anjajavy has 25 duplex villas, with the
main bedroom on the ground level and spare
or children’s room upstairs. The
en-suite bathroom is spacious, with separate
toilet. The large outdoor deck looks onto
the Indian Ocean and is ideal for enjoying
breakfast or evening drinks.
