Islands Of Siankaba

The Islands of Siankaba, Zambia

Livingstone, Zambia

The Islands of Siankaba comprises of two densely forested sand islands in the Zambezi River near the Siansimba Rapids. Located 24 miles upstream from the internationally renowned ‘Victoria Falls’ and just 30 miles from the magnificent Chobe National Park, Siankaba is an incredibly romantic and picturesque destination that would especially appeal to honeymooners.

The two islands are linked by a suspension bridge and overhead walkway in the tree canopy, joining the island with seven secluded chalets to the restaurant with a reputation for ‘haute-cuisine in the bush’. This unique position between Victoria Falls and Chobe makes Siankaba a unique destination.

The Islands of Siankaba has been developed as a luxurious tented camp, exclusively sleeping just fourteen guests.

The uniquely designed chalets are constructed of teak and custom-made canvas tenting, and are raised well above ground levels in the tree canopy. Private balconies extend over the river.

On offer are guided birding and tree walks, fishing trips for the elusive Zambezi Tiger, sunset river cruises, and dugout canoe trips around the Islands.

A variety of expeditions can be arranged such as trips to the Victoria Falls, elephant-back safaris, bunji jumping, white water rafting, micro lighting, helicopter flights, gorge swing, tiger moth flights, game drives and jet boating.

Children over 12 years are welcome.
