WHY MOROCCO?
Morocco is a land so intrinsically beautiful and rich with heritage that the moment you step foot on it you feel completely transported to another time and place.

For those seeking culture - do visit Marrakech or Fez with their fascinating architecture and medinas where you can shop for bargains in the souks. Only a short drive from Mararkech, will bring you into the magestic Atla Mountains - ideal for walking. Close to Fes lies the ancient Roman city of Volubilis.

  

And for beaches - the Atlantic coastline has plenty to offer - Essaouria - originally a  fortified emplacement created in the 15th Century - it is now a  delightfully unspoilt town where little has changed since Orson Wells directed his film Othello there in 1952. Essaouria has great beaches (excellent for windsurfing) and a car free medina that is one of the last authentic markets frequented by relatively few tourists.

Other beach areas include Agadir and tiny Oualidia with its lagoons where flamingos often thrive.
