• Safari 1: Arrive 11 June & depart 15 June for Match No. 6 on 13 June at 13h30 between teams C3 & C4.
• Safari 2: Arrive 15 June & depart 19 June for Match No. 18on 17 June at 13h30 between teams A4 & A2.
• Safari 3: Arrive 19 June & depart 23 June for Match No. 36 on 22 June at 20h30 between teams B4 & B1.
• Safari 4: Arrive 23 June & depart 27 June for Match No. 42 on 24 June at 16h00 between teams F2 & F3.

Price: The rate for each safari is R7235 pp sharing (R8515 single) for the 4 nights.

The Independent Traveller proudly offers an African Safari adventure with Mopane Bush Lodge - a special FIFA World Cup 2010 add on! The Mapungubwe Safari taking place in June 2010 puts you in the right spot for the 4 matches being held at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane.

The dates of these matches are 13, 17, 22 & 24 June. We have tickets for all of these matches. At present, we do not know the teams that will be playing at Polokwane; this will only be decided early in December 2009. However, we are taking bookings on a first come basis.

Mopane Bush Lodge, in the Limpopo Province, is offering a 4 night safari which will include one of these matches, plus an equally exciting Mapungubwe Safari to Mapungubwe National Park and the Limpopo River, Mapungubwe Hill, the site of the first Southern Africa Kingdom in the 13th Century and centre of the Mapungubwe World Heritage Site and a visit to see & have interpreted some special Limpopo San rock art.

Mopane Bush Lodge will take the guests to the stadium in Polokwane and bring them back to the lodge, in our own vehicles. The travelling time from the lodge to the stadium is between 2 & 3 hours depending upon traffic, day or night, and the number of stops on the way. The road is virtually straight all the way, and hence an easy commute. Refreshments will also be provided during the travelling.
