Children learn basic survival skills, as well as how to cook out, with professional guides
.

A mini-Pafuri Guides Course is offered with a certificate presented upon completion. The course  includes learning to identify trees, bird and animal species of the area, as well as learning to identify animal spoors.

A mini-Pafuri Chef Course invites children to get involved in the baking and making of tea-time treats, gamedrive snacks, and food decorating.

Wildlife colouring-in books with crayons are provided, featuring pictures of animals which children can learn to identify as they find them on gamedrives.These themed excursions encourage children to explore the area and its habitat.

There is a swimming pool, child minding services at extra cost, early dinners, and special children's meals (to be requested in advance).

Children over 3 years are welcome

Extra costs:
Mini-guides Course:  R350.00 per child (rate includes - mammal or bird book, cap and course). The price is quoted in South African Rands because it is payable on-site only, and converts to roughly £25.00.

Highlights

A shoreline walks with a guide to help children explore the rock-pools. A long coastline for children to dig in with buckets and spades, safe snorkelling and stargazing. Trips to Black Rock to find rock crabs and Hippo pools.

Other activities include: Volleyball, kite flying, beach tennis and cricket, boogie boarding, board games, colouring-in books, treasure hunts, hair-braiding and toasting marshmallows around the campfire.

From October to December children can accompany their parents to see Loggerhead and Leatherback turtles as they make their way up the beach to lay their eggs. And from January to March, children can see the turtles hatching.
