An
outstanding wildlife experience for budding
photographers to experience one of Zambia`s
hidden gems.
The Luangwa
Valley, which marks the end of the Great Rift
Valley, is one of the last unspoilt wilderness
areas and possibly the finest wildlife sanctuary
in Africa. It covers an area of over 9000 sq.
km. through which the meandering Luangwa River
runs. The ox bow lagoons, woodland and valley
plains host huge concentrations of game - including
elephant, buffalo, leopard, lion, giraffe,
hippo - and over 400 species of birds.
The Lodge: Zambia’s
hidden gem
Luangwa River Lodge rests under an ancient
grove of ebony trees on the banks of the beautiful,
wide Luangwa River. The open plan lounge, dining
areas and stunning swimming pool afford excellent

doors that open onto an outside deck, Luangwa
Lodge is somewhere you will not want to leave!
Luangwa River Lodge has all the creature comforts
of a 5 star lodge, yet with all the intimacy,
