Special Interest Tours / Zambia Photography Tour (Zambia)

25 May 2007 for 7 nights
Other dates and permutations are possible

An outstanding wildlife experience for budding photographers to experience one of Zambia`s hidden gems.

The Luangwa Valley, which marks the end of the Great Rift Valley, is one of the last unspoilt wilderness areas and possibly the finest wildlife sanctuary in Africa. It covers an area of over 9000 sq. km. through which the meandering Luangwa River runs. The ox bow lagoons, woodland and valley plains host huge concentrations of game - including elephant, buffalo, leopard, lion, giraffe, hippo - and over 400 species of birds.

The Lodge: Zambia’s hidden gem

Luangwa River Lodge rests under an ancient grove of ebony trees on the banks of the beautiful, wide Luangwa River. The open plan lounge, dining areas and stunning swimming pool afford excellent game viewing opportunities.

With 5 beautifully decorated rooms – all equipped with over sized bathrooms and folding doors that open onto an outside deck, Luangwa Lodge is somewhere you will not want to leave!

Luangwa River Lodge has all the creature comforts of a 5 star lodge, yet with all the intimacy, tailored activities and flexible mealtimes you come to expect from a bush camp as it only caters for up to ten guests at any one time.

Flights from Gatwick to Lusaka on British Airways
Onward flight to Mfuwe

Other dates and permutations are possible:
